Very loud when the place is full. Food is fresh and tastefull. Free salsa and chips if you mention that this is your first time there. Very minimal service but the speed at which they deliver food is impressive. There is an outside area that would be quieter but rain forced us inside. Try this place. Special deals on taco Tuesday and other days of the week.

Cannot go wrong with Mexican food.... Food is good and not long waits. They also serve beer and have an outdoor seating area. Must check out the hot sauce bar....

I love how they have so many sauce options! It is fast and their food is great! I would recommend people to go there.

I can't get enough of their Chips and Queso~!!!! And the sauce bar! I've gotten (really) sick off of the food at the Metro West location, and I usually only order the spinach & artichoke quesadillas so I don't know how you can screw that up... So I was hesitant to go back to a Tijuana Flats but the queso dip brought me back. I haven't had a bad experience that this Winter Garden location -- well except for the time that I walked in when there was a bunch of teenagers daring each other to take shots of the hot sauce from the hot sauce bar. One of the guys ran to the bathroom after several shots. I don't want to know the rest...

Third Tijuana Flats I have been to, and this one is also the best I have been to. The service was fast and friendly, the food (as always) was delicious, and the sauce selection was fantastic. I got a chicken norrito, and asked them to hold the rice but give me extra beans (low carb and all that) and they held the rice but I don't think I got any extra beans. My wife got a taco and a quesedilla and said both were awesome. She got some sauces on the Medium range and I got my super hot Red Ghost sauce, which has a pleasant taste and is actually hot. I'll be a regular here!

Consistent decent Mexican food with more options than Chipotle/Qdoba but unnecessarily pricer than the two by far. If you've never been to a TF then a notable difference is the salsa/hot sauce bar that ranges from tame and barely any hot spice to mouth on fire/tears in the eyes hot so if you like the challenge then have at it for no additional cost. The burrito deal on thursdays for 5.99 is good but honestly i feel like they nickel and dime you with add ons and they rush you through ordering so that you end up with a $25 total bill for food thats worth $10. The customer service during the ordering process is less than acceptable in my book and since I've only been to TF 2 or 3 times now sometimes i actually want to take 5 seconds to review my option instead of feeling stupid that i can't rattle off my preferences from memory. I can't say the service was completely awful because the guy that brought my food was very polite and friendly so maybe its just the girls at the register that are snotty. I go here when we are craving Mexican and want to pick up something to go but I cant say I've raved about it to anyone.

I used to work here, and I came back to eat here which says a lot. They do things right here and the manager Steve is the man! Great customer service and did I say they do things right here!? On this experience my food was superb. I got the blackened chicken burrito with everything in it and the only way to order it which is WET... dripping wet with chipotle it adds a better texture and taste. We got our foo quick didnt time it but Probably close to 7 min. Recommended for all kinds of peoples!!

Delicious Tex-Mex fir a great price. Extremely friendly staff. Blackened chicken chimichanga is a must try. If there's anything better, they deserve more than 5 stars. Great atmosphere!

I'm a big fan of Tijuana Flats and have been a regular of this location for nearly two years, but lately it's been consistently disappointing. My biggest gripe is with the kitchen staff; they seem to have no pride in their work. Too often I receive sloppy food with barely any toppings. They must use cheap product because I have chewed on pieces of bone and tendon too many times. If one of the waitresses comes to your table to offer refills, take her up on it; she may not be back before you finish your meal. And if you have to deal with a manager expect them to pass you off to any number of other employees.

Food is consistently good and service is pretty fast considering the amount of customers that they get on Tuesdays. It's nice to see a business that is well staffed. They are also great with refills when you are dining in. I think it is a very nice touch that they bring customers drinks while waiting in line.

Stopped here for lunch the other day, would definitely not return. This place is in a strip mall off the side road 50. We ordered the fish taco dinner (upgraded to dinner with rice and refried beans) and a combo dinner with chips on the side. We also ordered salsa and chips as an appetizer with a margarita. The drink was strong, but the mix used was not flavorful. Chips were run of the mill, not authentic, salsa was meh. My husband described his burrito taco combo as tasteless, lacking spice profile. My fish tacos were bland, but the weird part was that the upgrade got you a tablespoon of rice and beans, that is a small Dixie cup size. To their credit we asked the mgr, about it and he brought over another Dixie cup of the sides, and apologized for under serving the portions. Lunch cost $30.62 for a combo plate, fish tacos, a margarita, a coke, and salsa and chips. The decor is hot sauce brands on the walls, with a sauce bar in the centre of the restaurant. You order at the counter and the servers bring your food out on styrofoam plates. We came here because of the 4 star rating, what a disappointment it was.

Yes, every now and then, I get a craving for T-Flats. No, I do not feel guilty about that. You can't go into T-Flats thinking that you're going to get authentic Mexican food. It's some sort of Mexican-inspired food, but that's where the similarity ends. And that's fine as long as you manage your expectations. If you're more health-conscious, you can opt to have wheat instead of flour tortilla, and go PowerLite for a lower-calorie cheese and sour cream. This particular location has outdoor seating and plenty of seating inside. The hot sauce bar is circular and located in the middle of the restaurant. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing. This one also doesn't smell funky like the one in College Park. It has only had that same B.O. smell once in all the times I've been there. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. But if it does, I'm going to start thinking that it's the food that smells like B.O.

The hubby was craving some Mexican food the other night so we headed to Tijuana Flats. I had a steak burrito with cheese, onion, lettuce, and sour cream! Yum. The tortilla was a little more, crispy, than I like. There was actually a black mark on it. But I just covered in sour cream and it was all good. I don't really like rice & beans as a side so I was able to swap it for tortilla chips. So of course I had to order some queso. Oh cheesy goodness. I'm not a fan of hot sauces, but my hubby is so he loves the sauce bar. He loves getting several of the little cups and trying all the different types of sauces. Pretty neat. They also have some fun nights. Taco Tuesdays and something about burritos on Thursdays for a good deal!

Great food. Super fresh. But ny favorite part is all the sauce options. I love in Ohio and TF is on my list of place I MUST attend when I'm in FL. I always bring a few bottles of sauce home. Yesterday I chose Rasta sauce. Yum!

My friend and I order from here on a weekly basis for Taco Tuesday. This Tijuana Flats has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating available. I love that their outdoor seating is covered because you can still sit outside on a rainy day and not get wet. I also appreciate that their sauce bar is on a circular counter and all of the sauces are spread out. It can be very frustrating at other locations to have to wait in line because there are so many people just to get a couple of sauces. The service is decent. The ladies who all work the counter are very friendly and helpful. The food is always amazing. The ingredients are fresh and In the year that we have been going every Tuesday, they have never made our order incorrectly. The chips are awesome. I'm usually a guacamole type of person, but it's so so here. Their queso is much better. If you are going to order food on Tuesdays, either come really early (like 5) or really late (like 8). Taco Tuesday's are very, very popular. We always order ahead to pick up our food because the line usually ends at the entrance door. The nice thing about ordering ahead is you can skip the line and go to a separate counter and it takes 5 minutes to pick up and pay for your food. My one complaint here is the parking. I know that they can't do much about it, but on the nights that it gets really busy, there's just not enough parking. Otherwise, this place is awesome! We'll be back next Tuesday!

What can be said about Tijuana Flats but I can't wait until one is built closers to me. Love Taco Tuesdays for 5.49 getting 2 tacos and a drink is such a deal how can you go wrong. It can be a little pricey at times when you are not taking advantage of the specials. Be careful of the sauces because if you get the wrong one, your mouth will be on fire for an hour and beer does not cool off spicy heat.

I know this is a chain restaurant here in Florida, but this one is great! Their employees are ALWAYS friendly and seem to really enjoy their job which equals happy customers! The food is always fresh and they practically never mess up my order. Their hot bar has more choices than most TF's in Orlando. There are plenty of places to sit including an outside covered area as well. Thanks TF's!!

(Let me start off by saying that I would rate it closer to a 3.5 rather than 3) If you're looking for a solid, yet not great tex-mex spot then this is the place to be. There isn't really a huge negative to Tijuana Flats, I just don't see any great reasons to come back on a consistent basis. The food is tasty, but by no means will you feel the NEED to come back. They do have a friendly staff which is always a huge positive. I do find the prices to be a bit on the high side (relatively speaking of course); a meal for two can come out to $30-35. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in the area to make this a weekly or even monthly destination.

Went back recently. The food was much better than the first time (had a burrito) and it is serviceable Tex-Mex. I don't care for their hot sauces and the salsa is watery. I do like that you can make choices when ordering. The staff is really very attentive but not overbearing. I will go back - not a lot, but won't hesitate when I am in the mood for an inexpensive burrito.

I think I've seen Tijuana Flats locations all over Orlando but I had never visited one until a friend invited me to have lunch with him at the Winter Garden location the other day. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Tijuana Flats is the hybrid offspring of a college hang out and a burrito bar. The interior is colorful and crowded with a lots of color and writing on the walls. The dining area is arranged around an enormous hot sauce bar that offers about 30 different hot sauces. Alas, I could not find a hot sauce that really satisfied my desire for the equivalent of Thai heat, but I give Tijuana Flats an "A" for effort. My friend and I ordered at the service counter and then proceeded to a table where a server brought us our meals. We both had an individually burrito--his filled with meat and mine vegetarian. I ordered mine in a healthy way, without smothering it in cheese sauce. My friend opted for the unhealthy route. Both were served with sides of rice and beans. While I would not recommend my burrito as one worthy of the culinary hall of fame, it was a good, inexpensive burrito. I neither loved it nor hated it and it certainly filled me up. I went out to eat so that I could enjoy a good conversation and grab a bite to eat. Tijuana was a fun and, at that particular moment, convenient location for doing just that!

I went to make dinner and my room mate said, hey if you drive, I will buy! So off to Flats we went. It was a quiet night and there was no line. The few employees that were there were very nice and super friendly. I had a Steak Chimiganga with rice and beans.... yum-o! I always enjoy their food and service. We normally don't go on a Thursday night but it seems to be kids night and they had a girl doing balloon animals! Super cool... free... and the kids loved them... (me too, i got a monkey!) Also the manager came over a number of times to make sure we were okay and the food was okay. He even refilled our drinks! Its not the best Mexican in the world but its great for a quick one!
